Emirates Stadium, Arsenal’s home in Holloway, north London (postcode N7 7AJ), sits in a mostly residential area. There are only a handful of hotels within walking distance, but excellent Tube links put Finsbury Park, Islington/Angel and King’s Cross within a short ride or walk. This guide covers the best bases for the 2026/27 season, which hotels to book, and how to get to and from the ground on matchday.

Getting there, shuttles & parking
Per Arsenal’s official travel guidance:
- Arsenal (Piccadilly line) is the nearest station, about three minutes’ walk from the ground. It has no step-free access, and queues form outside on Gillespie Road after matches.
- Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly lines, Great Northern rail) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria line, Overground, Great Northern) are each about a 10-minute walk, and both are wheelchair accessible.
- Holloway Road is exit-only before matches and closed for up to two hours afterwards. Drayton Park is closed on matchdays.
- From King’s Cross St Pancras, take the Piccadilly line to Arsenal or the Victoria line to Highbury & Islington.
- Parking: the club strongly advises against driving. There is no stadium parking apart from limited pre-booked Blue Badge spaces, and only permit holders can park on local streets on matchdays. Illegally parked cars are towed.
- There are no hotel shuttles. Buses along Holloway Road, Seven Sisters Road and Blackstock Road stop within a 5–10 minute walk.
Matchday tips
- Arrive at least an hour before kick-off to allow time for security checks.
- After the match, walking to Finsbury Park or Highbury & Islington is often faster than queuing at Arsenal station.
- Pubs around Holloway Road and Blackstock Road fill up hours before kick-off, so book dinner tables in advance.
- Ask your hotel to store your bags so you can check out and still make a Sunday kick-off.
- Only buy tickets through Arsenal’s official channels, because touting is illegal in the UK.
