Last updated: October 28, 2026 · By Ronen, Stay Near The Venue

The 2027 Rose Bowl Game is a College Football Playoff quarterfinal, played on Friday, January 1, 2027, at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The Rose Parade rolls down Colorado Boulevard the same morning, so New Year’s Day brings two huge crowds to one small city. Hotels in Pasadena fill early, and the nights of December 30 and 31 are the hardest to book.

This guide covers the best areas to stay, real hotels in each one, and how to get to the stadium on game day. If you are also coming back for summer concerts, see our guide to hotels near the Rose Bowl for Harry Styles 2027. Winners move on to the semifinals and the CFP National Championship in Las Vegas.
