Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is close to the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), only about 3.5–4 miles away. During a big show, though, how you make that short trip matters. Taxi lines, rideshare pickup areas and bus stops are each in different places, and fares vary a lot.

This guide compares every option with verified prices, as of October 2026. If you still need a room, see our main guide to hotels near the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Quick answer: A taxi is the simplest option. The LVCC is in the airport’s flat-rate Zone 3, so the fare is about $29–30. Uber and Lyft pick up in the airport parking garages. On a budget, RTC bus Route 108 runs from Terminal 1 up Paradise Road past the LVCC on a $2 single ride.

Taxi: flat-rate zone fares

The Nevada Taxicab Authority set zone-based flat fares between the airport and the resort corridor in 2020. The LVCC sits in Zone 3, which covers Flamingo Road north to the STRAT. Recent published fares put Zone 3 at about $29–30 (Vegas Always lists $29.25 in its 2026 update). A credit card fee of about $3 may apply. Flat fares only cover direct trips, so adding a stop puts you back on the meter.

Per the airport’s website, Terminal 1 taxis wait outside baggage claim on the east side, near doors 1–4. At Terminal 3, the taxi line is on Level Zero near door 52.

Uber & Lyft pickup at LAS

Rideshare pickup is in the parking garages. At Terminal 1, go to Level 2 of the garage. At Terminal 3, go to the Valet Level of the garage. Follow the signs from baggage claim. Prices change with demand and can jump when a big show lets out, so check both apps before you book.

RTC bus: Route 108 and other airport routes

Per the RTC of Southern Nevada, three routes serve the airport. Routes 108 and 109 stop at Terminal 1 (Ground Level Zero). The Centennial Express (CX) stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Route 108 runs from Terminal 1 up Paradise Road to the Bonneville Transit Center downtown, passing the LVCC and its Monorail station. That makes it the most direct bus.

Residential-route fares are $2 for a single ride, $3 for a 2-hour pass and $5 for a 24-hour pass. Buy passes at the ticket machine at the Terminal 1 bus stop, on board with exact change, or by tapping a contactless card with Tap & GO. Arriving at Terminal 3? Take the free inter-terminal shuttle to Terminal 1.

Monorail and Vegas Loop: what they can and can’t do

The Las Vegas Monorail does not go to the airport. It is still handy once you’re in town. It runs from MGM Grand to SAHARA, with a station at the LVCC. A single ride costs about $5.50 online, per Las Vegas Advisor.

The Vegas Loop began limited airport rides at the end of 2025 for about $12 per ride, mixing tunnel and surface streets. At launch, rides started at Resorts World or Westgate and only dropped off at the airport departures curb. Pickups at the terminals were not yet allowed. Check lvloop.com for current routes before you count on it.

Hotels near the LVCC that are easy from the airport

These hotels are on or near Paradise Road, the same road Route 108 uses and taxis take from the airport. All are in Zone 3.

Getting there, shuttles & parking

Driving. The LVCC is about 3.5 miles from the airport, per the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), which says most hotels are within a 15-minute drive. The rental car center is about 3 miles from the terminals and reached by shuttle bus.

Parking at the LVCC. When paid parking is in effect, the Bronze and Silver lots cost $15 a day, and overnight parking isn’t allowed. Some big shows close public parking entirely. Per ces.tech, there is no public parking at the LVCC during CES 2027.

Show shuttles. Large shows sometimes run their own airport shuttles. For CES 2027, a $10 one-way shuttle runs from the LVCC South shuttle area and Venetian Expo to the airport. It operates Thursday and Friday from noon to 7pm and Saturday from noon to 5pm, leaving on the hour and half hour.

Tips for a smooth airport transfer

  • Tell your taxi driver you want a direct trip so the Zone 3 flat fare applies.
  • Ask whether the cab takes cards before you get in. Not every company does.
  • Take the bus only with light luggage. Buses can be crowded during big conventions.
  • Leave extra time on your way back to the airport. Lines at the LVCC are longest at the end of the show day.
  • Book a hotel on Paradise Road and you can skip transport entirely once you arrive.
