Juneau’s cruise ships do not all use the same dock. A downtown hotel can be an easy walk to one berth and a ride to another. This guide uses what the Juneau Hotel publishes about its own location, and it asks you to confirm the berth on your documents.
Quick answer: the Juneau Hotel says it has convenient access to the cruise terminals and a complimentary shuttle to the airport and the Alaska Marine Highway ferry. The same page also says that shuttle was limited during the pandemic, so call the hotel before you count on it. We are not publishing a walk time, because it depends on which dock your ship uses.

Downtown Juneau, then confirm the dock
The hotel is in downtown Juneau. OpenStreetMap lists it at 1200 West 9th Street. Your ship may use a downtown berth or a berth farther along the waterfront. The hotel page does not publish a minute-by-minute walk to each dock, so this guide does not either.

The hotel’s site describes an all-suite property just steps from the Gastineau Channel, with convenient access to the cruise ship terminals. It also says guests are within walking distance of shops, museums, and the Mount Roberts Tramway.
- Complimentary shuttle to Juneau International Airport and the Alaska Marine Highway ferry, according to the hotel. A later line on the same page says the shuttle was limited during the pandemic. Confirm on the hotel site before you rely on it.
- The hotel says on-site parking is free for guests. It does not publish a dollar amount, so this guide does not add one.
- Every suite is described as having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. That is the hotel’s description, not a rate.
Booking the cruise fare
