Port Everglades Cruise Parking 2026: Rates, Garages and Terminals

Last updated: October 9, 2026 · By Ronen, Stay Near The Venue

Port Everglades cruise parking is run by the port itself: two garages and four surface lots, charged by the hour up to a daily maximum, with no reservations. This guide covers the official 2026 rates, which garage serves which terminal, and what to know before you drive in. If you also need a room before sailing, see our guide to hotels near Port Everglades.

Quick answer: Port Everglades parking is $25 per day maximum for a standard vehicle, starting at $5 for up to one hour. The Heron Garage serves Terminals 2 and 4, and the Palm Garage serves Terminals 19, 21, 25, 26 and 29. The port does not take reservations or prepayment.

Oversized vehicles

Oversized vehicles up to 24 feet pay $18 for the first 5 hours and $35 for up to 24 hours. Garages have a 7-foot clearance, so tall vehicles should not use them.

Tips for parking at Port Everglades

  • Check your terminal number before you leave. Choosing the wrong garage can mean a long walk or a shuttle ride with luggage.
  • Do not expect to reserve or prepay. The port does not take reservations or prepayment, so arrive with a plan for busy embarkation mornings.
  • If your vehicle is taller than 7 feet, use a surface lot rather than a garage.
  • Questions about your parking charge? Port parking management can be reached at 954-468-3680.

Staying nearby before your cruise

Many cruisers sleep near the port the night before and drive to the terminal in minutes. Two options close to the port are the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel and the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port. Ask any hotel whether it offers park-and-cruise packages and a shuttle to your terminal, then compare the total with the port’s $25 daily maximum. How we checked this guide

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page is when we last reviewed it end to end.

  • Parking rates, shuttle fees and transport times are taken from the port’s, venue’s or operator’s own published pages and from each hotel’s own website — not from aggregator sites.
  • Distances and journey times are the figures the venue or transit operator publishes, not our estimates. Where we give a distance, we say what it is measured to.
  • Hotel amenities (breakfast, shuttle hours, pet and parking policies) come from each hotel’s own site. These change more often than anything else here, so confirm them when you book.
  • Room rates are deliberately not listed anywhere on this site. They move daily, and a price written one month is wrong the next. Our links take you to live pricing instead.
  • We have not stayed at every hotel we write about. Where we contacted a property directly, the guide says so and gives the date. Where a figure comes from a third-party report rather than an official source, we say that too.
